Holcomb Hills Equestrian has all that and more. We have a friendly, welcoming environment for everyone: young and old and all in-between.
Join barrel racers, dressage folks, endurance riders,  4-H kids, and first-time horse owners at our barn! While we lean western, everyone is welcome.

Meet the Owners

Kristan Cross

Kris has been around horses all her life and found a home with them. She's a barrel racer by passion and a trainer by experience. Kris is a very hands-on owner. She learns each and every horse's personality/behaviors and has a very strong intuition as to when a horse is “off.” Kris is dedicated to making sure that horses AND owners are safe and well cared for at Holcomb Hills Equestrian.

Mel Schumann

Melissa started riding horses in 5th grade when her parents got her riding lessons for her birthday. Years later her passion for horses led her to Holcomb Hills Equestrian as a boarder. Now, her and Kris share that passion together. Melissa’s interests are trail riding and showing.
